Anxiety, stress and lack of sleep are some of the biggest challenges to human well-being. By combining cutting edge technology with neuroscience, STill provides a multi-sensory experience that helps users to relax and improve their sleep. STill is easy to use. One only needs to put on headphones, select the personalized program on the app, step onto STill and close one’s eyes – to be immersed into a digital space, in which the physical, mental and emotional is touched by water landscapes.

In search for a robust and easy-to-clean surface, we decided to work with a nylon fabric, initially developed for high-end outdoor gear. Being soft and light, it allows users to feel the thermo-regulation processes (ranging continuously between 10°C and 45°C in the silicone pads filled with water) with their sensitive foot soles. The placement of the feet is indicated by LED lights, shining through the ultra-thin fabric. By pulling the tap provided with the logo, the lid can be quickly removed to replace the water. To allow for good air circulation, we designed a housing made of CNC-punched sheet metal, proofing cost-effective in industrial production.
